NYE – Looks and Likes

Come December, and it’s party time.

Also that time of the year, where you are in the chaos of outfit and accessory choices. And of course you have nothing to wear, even though you see yourself amidst closet full of clothes and accessories.

I hear you. Aren’t we in the same boat? So amidst my own chaos and the fun of figuring it out, here are some suggestions. But truth be told, don’t we love this fashion drama or shall we say dilemma. 🙂

What to wear on New Year’s Eve, depends on what you are doing and where you are going. Is it going to be a wild wild evening, or a quiet evening with friends in front of the? Are you going out or are you staying in. Whichever way, you are allowed sparkles the light up the evening.

Going Out:

So, what to wear from New Year’s party depends on where you are going and the look you are trying to achieve. It could be a black tie event, or a fun party with friends.

It’s that time of the year where you can dress to kill, to look uber sexy and make heads turn. But, in my opinion sexy yet classy. Short or long, sequins or sheer, casual or chic, it should scream sophistication. And with your choice of clothes, most importantly stay away from big extravagant accessories and the belief of more is more. Less could actually be more if you didn’t know it. It would best be paired with a statement earring OR a statement necklace. Either / Or should be the mantra.

Staying in:

Nothing wrong in staying in. A casual party at home with friends and watching the ball drop has a charm of its own. You can still get into  ala party mode with your chic and comfy style. Perhaps instead of a LBD, you could opt for a cowl neck sparkly T, with solid leggings, or vice versa. Or your favorite boyfriend or skinny ones paired with a slouchy sweater. And, as for accessories, maybe stack bangles in (gold or silver or both) in abundance, and some statement earrings. Sure enough you will sparkle the night through.

Shine the night through! Be Safe! Be warm! Cant wait to see what 2017 brings!
